The film follows Juan (Alejandro Spitzer), a group of gasoline smugglers known as “pimpineros” who risk their lives transporting illegal fuel from one country to another in the desert bordering Colombia and Venezuela. He is the youngest of a clan of three brothers caught up in this dangerous trade, forced to work for a sinister rival. Determined to uncover the terrible secrets that surround this no man’s land, Juan’s girlfriend Diana (Laura Osma) sets out in search of the truth.
