Coincidentally, Aidan Turner used to shoot at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals)
Story
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to a head. The same filming location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC adaptation of Poldark.
5 minutes into the first episode and I was hooked
When I first saw that Rivals was coming out, I was a little excited. I was nervous too ~ as I was a fan of the books.
The clothes, the makeup, the music ~ what a soundtrack
Every episode is fast paced, there’s never a time where you get bored or feel dragged out like so many of these miniseries do. The characters are all unique and so well played, the acting and casting is fantastic.
This series is fun, daring, colorful and nostalgic
I understand the frustration that Rupert changed his look. but it’s really not a big deal and has no lasting impact.
please have more
It doesn't disappoint at all, and let's take a moment to appreciate David Tennen, once again the 'bad' perfect guy.
