Story
Edward, a civil servant, flees from his fiancée Molly on their wedding day in Rangoon in 1917. Molly, ready for the wedding and amused by his escape, follows him around Asia.

Unfortunately, the director wanted to tell us a story and took the idea from the short story “Mabel”; W. The story is only 5 pages long, so the “story” is told to us in a way that resembles a joke told by a person with a speech impediment.
You already know what happens next, but out of politeness you have to wait
It’s deadly boring and some people ran out of the movie after the first half hour, and I regret not following their example. Between the narrative, which is supposed to take place in 1917 and is filmed in black and white, we get a lot of modern stuff in color.
